To celebrate the launch of his childhood memoir Get Up Mum, Justin Heazlewood performs a very special ceremony, paying tribute to the memory of his twelve-year-old self. In the grand space of the Northcote Uniting Church Hall, Justin will conjure the spirit of the bespectacled boy carer who fought bravely to protect himself and his Mum from mental illness. This promises to be a fascinating and intimate event as an author says goodbye to his family of the past by raising a book to the future.
