Founded in late 2022 as a small band project Cirkel TwentyTwo soon noticed that they wanted our music to be heard by more than just the thick walls of our practise room. Our first single "Last Call for a Burning Star" released in August 2024 and our second single "Worst Enemy" in December 2024.
The inspirations for the songs surge from the daily life struggles and psychological wonders of Songwriter Lars Kanyarukiga. Working in "real life" as a teacher and therapist with struggeling students in the tuff neighboorhood of Hamburg -Wilhelmsburg, he learned a lot about the dark sides of human kind. The mix of this experiences with his own lifestories produce the unique sound of Cirkle TwentyTwo.

The five guys are not only diverse with regard to age, but also in their origin - 3 1/2 nationalities bring together the most diverse influences. (Brazil, Indonesia, Germany and Bavaria) What better place to call home than the gateway to the world: Hamburg.
In and around the pearl of a city they bring clubs, bars and festivals to a boil.
The three guys from Golden Retriever, Carl (guitar, bass), Moritz (drums) and Martin (guitar, vocals), found each other on the notice board at university in 2019. Together they write indie songs with an echoing guitar sound and deep lyrics that are sometimes dreamy and melancholy and sometimes screechy and driving. In January 2024, they released their first EP “Flucht und Alltag”.
