Modern Psych Double Header
Helicon was formed by brothers John-Paul and Gary Hughes in East Kilbride, Glasgow. Their sound blends psychedelia, electronica, guitars and sitars with a spirit of counter-cultural experimentation. Since signing to Fuzz Club in 2017, their music has featured on BBC Radio 6 Music, and they’ve previously collaborated with Tony Doogan (Mogwai / Delgados / Belle & Sebastian / David Byrne), Will Carruthers (Spacemen 3 / The Brian Jonestown Massacre/ Spiritualized / Dead Skeletons), and Mark Gardener (Ride).
Their 4th studio album, ARISE, a collaboration with LA-based artist and DJ AL Lover, was released Friday, 13th February 2026 and reached no 20 in the Official UK Album Downloads Chart
Man of Moon, one of Scotland’s most intense live duos, bring a different kind of force. Their sound synthesises drones, dynamic shifts, industrial textures and atmospheric depth – a distillation of influences ranging from Mogwai and Radiohead to Tool, Nine Inch Nails and Pink Floyd. Their performances are intentional, explosive, and completely their own.
