Smoooooth, sexy and soulful it can only be the magnificent Brian Culbertson.
If any boy is bringing a girl home, trying to treat her right and show her goods then Brian needs to be in the background singing his heart out. 'You're my music,' is a metaphorical love song that always goes down smooth.
Not only is he a love doctor but also an unbelievable artist live. He gets through musical instruments quicker than singing girls boobs backstage. He rattles through all sorts of instruments from the trumpet to the synthesiser to the piano. A multi-talented man something which goes a miss nowadays.
There are few dates on his calendar for october and November so if you need to buy your mum a birthday present or early xmas present then be sure to search for his tickets. Your mum will thank you after she witnesses him live in full swing.
I think it’s fair to say that David Beonit is pretty much the face of the entire genre of smooth jazz. His work is absolutely prolific and he has composed for Peanuts, the Weather Channel and played live for multiple US Presidents as well as audiences across the globe. It’s safe to say that whether you know it or not, you have come across David Benoit’s work at some point during your life.
David plays live with a full jazz band to round out his sound. The strings and percussion compliment his gorgeous piano riffs beautifully and the overall sound is so wonderfully pleasing. Watch David play and you’ll be astounded by the speed at which he can produce notes. His hands whizz up and down octaves, but he never misses a note. His skill is astounding for sure.
“Freedom At Midnight” is one of David’s signature songs that never seems to age. Instantly recognizable, but always fresh it’s as if his music drinks from the fountain of youth. Die-hard fans of David Benoit will also want to listen out for his live performances of “Miles After Dar” and “Cast Your Fate to the Wind” which always glisten when he performs them. Overall, you really can’t go wrong with a David Benoit show and I highly recommend you catch him soon!
Paul Taylor is one of those smooth jazz saxophonists that just knows how to light up a room with music that he wrote himself. With eight studio albums under his belt, signed to Peak Records, I’m not surprised as to why this has become a possibility for him. It is simply no wonder that this musician has had the pleasure of earning his stripes, collaborating with artists such as LaToya London, Regina Belle and Terry Dexter. When he plays, it isn’t like he is playing for himself, to show off to this audience, he really makes sure that the audience can feel what he is playing on the saxophone, whether he is playing the variation of a motif or just improvising around, he always makes sure that people can feel what is going on. “Prime Time” is such a highlight of the set with patrons up on their feet dancing in front of Taylor and having the best time. “Ladies Choice” is such a highlight of his set with such a cool and smooth groove getting everyone dancing. Great times.
