Join us at the New Zealand School of Music - Te Kōkī this King's Birthday weekend to enjoy a free concert showcasing young chamber musicians.
Previously known as the King’s Birthday Chamber Music Intensive, the NZSQ ChamberLab is a free, annual weekend of workshops and masterclasses for secondary school chamber music ensembles. It's a perfect opportunity for secondary school chamber music ensembles to spend an intensive weekend rehearsing and performing together under the tutoring of the NZSQ musicians and other NZSM staff. It's also a great way for them to get a taste of what it's like to study at NZSM. The weekend will then culminate in this public finale concert where they’ll showcase everything they learned.
There's no need to RSVP or register ahead of time, simply show up just before 2pm on Monday 1 June to secure your front row seats and support our young chamber music stars!
