Astor is a very interesting man to see live. He is usually found in one of two concerts. A jazzy night club, or a spanish cultured dance club. Either way, he's a joy to see. What's nice is that I don't have to pay an arm and a leg to enjoy good, live music with him. He is usually found in a group with another local band playing their hearts out with either his music or their own. It's hard to pinpoint a style for Astor because he is so adaptable that you'll think you're seeing another man play every time you go to see him. He always brings the crowds out too, usually leading audience participation with dance or a little wiggle of his butt up on stage to get the crowd going. You don't really need to be familiar with him beforehand to get in to his music, either. Just as long as you like dancing, go see this guy, and you won't regret it. Bring that girl you like, get a little buzz going and enjoy a night of collaborative fusion and salsa dancing until last call. But personally, I like sitting at home working with one of his singles on.
