Tremonti

I saw Tremonti three years ago at the Ritz in Manchester and it was a truely epic experience mainly due to the sheer intensity of the performance, also aided by a great venue ...10/10
This time round not quite as impressed. What an opportunity to open with 'Bringer of War' off the new album, surely a natural to kick off! Don't get me wrong Mark and the boys are magnificent live. They ran through a mix of new and old with vigour. They weren't helped initially by the awful sound due to the terrible acoustics! I've been to 50 odd venues and this is by far the worst. Dodgy location combined with on street parking doesn't help either.
Time seemed tight even though they had the following day free. Mind you i did get a brief word with the guys after due to purchasing a tour shirt. I think i got my point across regarding the venue. Perhaps it was a last minute booking?
Anyway still a top night ...7.5/10
