Hickey Fest

Hickey Fest is a 3-day independent music festival featuring 25 bands, community campgrounds, psychedelic projections and other relaxing adventures held in Leggett, California in Mendocino County, just 3 hours north of the Bay Area. Named after Standish Hickey State Park, where the South Fork of the Eel River shimmers against a backdrop of majestic redwoods, Hickey Fest takes place over summer solstice weekend: Friday-Sunday, June 15, 16 and 17– the 3 longest days of the year and somehow the 3 longest nights. With group camping at Standish Hickey State Park and bands playing across the way at The Peg House, Hickey Fest is a special summer treat. The Peg House features a shaded outdoor stage and patio area, a sandwich shack with vegan options and lots of tasty micro-brews on tap, and a general store for all your last-minute camping and grocery needs. Katie Colver, the Bay Area’s own favorite musical yogi, will offer Showga (yoga accompanied by live music) each morning.
