GONZO! Ramen began March 4th of 2020. It was the same day COVID was declared a state of emergency in California. Through perseverance, the restaurant survived the shitshow and is run daily by the Murphy family and friends providing a rock n roll rendezvous. Don’t know what to get? Try the GONZO! Red (Spicy Miso) or GONZO! Black (Tonkotsu with Black Garlic Oil). Vegan? GONZO! Green. All broths are made with the supervision of the ghost of Hunter S. Thompson. Enjoy the beer, GONZO! Mania, a Japanese Lager made by our friends over at Booze Brothers, they are the best. If you're a food snob, forget it, we just do Japanese comfort food. The music may be loud at times, sorry. Indulge in some sake, enjoy yourself...you did good taking the kids to Legoland today. Hopefully we can add some culture around here..dig? Want to know more, just ask, the family is here everyday.
