Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club is a live music venue in London, open since 1959. After travels to cities across the world Scott was inspired to start a club for musicians in London. He opened up Ronnie Scott's with help from friend and fellow saxophonist Pete King. Many acts have taken to the stage over the decades. Notably, Ronnie Scott's is the site of Jimi Hendrix's last ever live performance. After Scott's death King took over running the club for nine years, before selling it in 2005 to Sally Greene. Ronnie Scott's is right in the heart of London and is easily reached by public transport. It is just a short walk from Tottenham Court Road Underground.
